Welcome to Western Auction & Real Estate, LLC -- .com! I am Robin Petersen, Associate Broker, Appraiser & Auctioneer. I have been a near-life long resident of Cheyenne County, Kansas. I have grown up to appreciate those caring faces on the streets of St. Francis and the relaxed way of life, and I love calling Western Kansas “Home!”

I am a graduate of St. Francis Community High School. I went to Kansas State University to further my education in Architecture. I hold a degree in Drafting Technologies. While at college, my calling in Real Estate kept getting louder! I wanted to be apart of our family business so I pursed licensing in Real Estate and Appraising and also have attended The World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. I currently hold Associate Broker licenses in Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska. I love to travel about and work in each area. I also enjoy doing appraisals and always look forward to our next auction!

I share my home with my Son, Preston, our border collie, Bailee and calico cat, Peek-a-Boo. Needless to say we have an active home and we enjoy spending time together on the farm with the cattle, golfing, flower gardening, and attending community activities. I enjoy embarking on new adventures with Preston and teaching him the way of life in Kansas while exposing him to new things on the horizon! Preston is a very popular “Little Associate” with his own regular visitors to the office! Stop by and he’ll be glad to greet you while taking up a game of basketball while he whirls past on his scooter! We like to keep it lively around the office and auction lot!

On the side – I have taken up a new business called Southern Living at Home which offers the great reputation of Southern Living recipes and fine home décor.
